The Green Card loyalty programme is a new way for us to grow loyal customers and reward members for shopping at our centres, dining with us and enjoying our events and experiences!

Green Card FAQ’s

  • Yes, your points will carry over to your Green Card account. It is important you sign up to the Green Card using the email address linked to your EmploymentHero account to ensure your points are carried across.

  • You will need to re-sign up to the Green Card using your EmploymentHero email address in order to receive your staff discount and team treats. Unfortunately, if you have accrued points on your customer Green Card, these points cannot be carried across to your staff account.

  • Look out for your Green Card ambassadors in store. They are on hand to share advice and help you troubleshoot any queries. They should always be your first point of contact if you have any Green Card questions.

  • Speak to one of the Green Card ambassadors and let them know you’d like to sign up for the plastic card.

    • If you have a smartphone, the Green Card App is available to download from the Apple Store or Google Play store. To start collecting points and enjoying the benefits of the app, You will need to register on the app with your personal details and by completing a few questions. Your digital card is included in your app and you simply present it for scanning every time you make a purchase.

    • Please let us know and we can sign you up for a plastic Green Card.

    • On Green Card purchases* in store, you will collect 2 points for every £1 you spend. At times, we may offer additional points for products or purchases. The purchase of tickets for events in store and food orders placed in app will accrue points.

    • *Exclusions apply. Points are not allocated for purchase of gift cards, non-stock items, concessions or online shop purchases. See terms for more details.

    • You can collect points in all our garden centres and restaurants, for buying event tickets and any Grass Hoppers food purchases in the app. Points are not available for gift cards and non-stock items. Purchases made in our online shop are not valid for Green Card points. You cannot collect or redeem Green Card points from concessions operating in any of our centres including Pavers Shoes, Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Bon Marche.

    • There is no minimum spend and you can request to pay with your points at our tills in store. You cannot collect or redeem points from concessions operating in any of our centres including Pavers Shoes, Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Bon Marche.

    • Your points balance is available in your Green Card app and is displayed on your receipt.

    • Your points will expire 12 months for the date they were added to your card.

    • In the app, you can access ‘Account’ in the bottom menu and select ‘Details’ to update any personal information including your email address, and any preferences. Alternatively, you can speak to a member of the People & Culture team.

    • Our till operators can find you on our system with your email address, just mention this when making your purchases.

    • To replace a lost or stolen card, please speak to a member of the People & Cutlure team, they can provide a replacement plastic card.

    • Step 1: Log into the app

    • Step 2: Go to the Account icon

    • Step 3: Select the Details tab at the top

    • Step 4: Scroll to the bottom and tap ‘Permanently Delete Account’

    • Step 5: Enter App password, and tap delete.

    • Your customer record is immediately and permanently deleted.

TERMS & Conditions

    • Green Card is promoted by Yorkshire Garden Centres at TGC (2015) Ltd, Tong Lane, Bradford BD4 0RY

    • By joining Green Card, you are agreeing to being contacted by post, mobile text messages, telephone or email in relation Green Card related communications.

    • Use of the Green Card constitutes acceptance of the Yorkshire Garden Centres’ loyalty programme terms and conditions.

    • Members are only permitted to hold one card / loyalty account.

    • The Green Card at Yorkshire Garden Centres is open to individuals only and is not available to members of a group or club. Membership of the programme and personalised offers are not transferable or for resale.

    • Applicants must be aged 18+ to join the Green Card at Yorkshire Garden Centres

    • Points on your Green Card are non-transferable.

    • Points used for part or full payment of a product will be deducted from your points balance.

    • In the event you return an item for refund, the points accrued at purchase will be deducted from your points balance.

    • If a product you have purchased with points is faulty, please return it in store and the points spent will be re-credited to your Green Card.

    • Yorkshire Garden Centres reserve the right to substitute a reward or prize, cancel the loyalty programme and any benefits attributed to it at any time, decline issue of cards, withdraw or cancel points collected at any time.

    • Rewards may only be redeemed by the named Green Card member at Yorkshire Garden Centres.

    • Rewards and points are only offered as a result of purchasing products within Yorkshire Garden Centres and with the purchase of play tickets online for Grass Hoppers and Mission Out via the app.

    • In respect of any unused offers, Yorkshire Garden Centres will honour these offers in conjunction with the expiry date of that individual offer.

    • Green Card rewards are not exchangeable for cash, gift vouchers, or any other excluded category of products and are subject to the terms and conditions printed on the voucher.

    • Specific offers are subject to their own Terms & Conditions. By taking up any such offer, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.

    • If no transaction occurs by a member in any 12 month period, the member’s card / programme membership may expire and any offers or points may be cancelled.

    • If signing up for a plastic Green card, the application must be completed in full. Yorkshire Garden Centres reserve the right not to accept any incomplete registrations.

    • Your plastic Green Card remains the property of Yorkshire Garden Centres and the cardholder shall return the plastic card if requested.

    • Yorkshire Garden Centres is not responsible for the loss of theft of your plastic Green Card. Lost, stolen or damaged cards may be replaced at the discretion of Yorkshire Garden Centres. Customers may be charged for this service.

    • Yorkshire Garden Centres is not responsible for any errors resulting from fraudulent use of a Green Card or the inability of a cardholder to receive or redeem points or use vouchers, unless in any such case it is caused by Yorkshire Garden Centres’ negligence or fraud.

    • Yorkshire Garden centres reserves the right to terminate Green Card at any time by giving three months’ notice of its intention to do so. Any such notice will be posted on the Yorkshire Garden Centres’ website (www.yorkshiregardencentres.co.uk )

    • Nothing in the Terms & Conditions shall limit or exclude Yorkshire Garden Centres or the YGC liability or for any other liability the exclusion or limitation of which is not permitted by law (nothing in the Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights).

    • Yorkshire Garden Centres can accept no liability for personal loss or injury at any of the participating venues as far as permitted by law.

    Data protection

    • Yorkshire Garden Centres is committed to protecting your privacy. Yorkshire Garden centres will not sell or share your personal data for marketing purposes with any third-party business. Your personal information is collected and processed only in accordance with the administration of Green Card loyalty programme and to contact you for the purpose as described in the application process. Yorkshire Garden Centres adheres to the Data Protection Act 1998.
