Yes, tickets are limited for each time slot so must be pre-booked to guarantee entry and avoid disappointment.

Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket. Entry times are staggered every 5, 10, or 15 minutes from the event opening time, depending on whether it is a Peak or Off-Peak day.

Yes, there are different ticket prices depending upon which day and time you wish to attend. We offer Super Off-Peak, Off-Peak, Standard and Peak tickets. Ticket pricing for each day can be found on the booking page for each event.

All children require a ticket. Visitors aged 13–17 will be charged a teen rate and will not receive a festive keepsake. Adults aged 18 and over must purchase an adult ticket.

If a visitor wishes to receive a festive keepsake, they must be booked under a child ticket regardless of age.

Babies under 12 months go free, but a ticket must still be selected at checkout to help us manage capacity and ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.

There will be pulsating and flashing light effects across all sections of our light trails (with additional haze/smoke effects at various points). Customers with motion sensitivity are also advised there are sections of the trail with slow motion lighting effect.

If you have an existing account or create one at the time of booking on DigiTickets, our booking platform, you’ll be able to manage your booking online. You can amend your order up to 7 days before your booked session by logging into your account and selecting an alternative available date.

If no suitable sessions are available, we will issue a credit note on request valid for use at Grass Hoppers or Mission Out within 6 months.

No, all you need to do is show your order confirmation with barcode received by email on your mobile device and then show upon arrival.

The trail has been designed to be accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with pushchairs. However, please be aware that some zones may include uneven ground, natural surfaces, or softer terrain, especially during or after wet weather, which may make navigation more challenging.

Please note: Parts of the experience take place in the Woodland Den, which may be difficult to access with wheelchairs, pushchairs, or trolleys. A designated viewing area is available on the hillside above, offering a view of this zone.

Certain interactive elements along the trail may involve steps, inclines, or physical activities. These may require additional assistance for visitors with limited mobility.

If anyone in your party requires specific accessibility support, we strongly encourage you to contact us in advance. Our team will be happy to discuss your needs and advise on how we can best support your visit.

Re-entry is not permitted.

No. You will not be admitted before your timed ticket slot, please ensure you arrive no earlier than your allocated slot. If you arrive earlier than booked, you will be turned away to ensure smooth entry for guests who have booked for that time.

We estimate that each group will take 45 minutes to 1 hour to enjoy the trail.

Unless the weather presents a safety issue, the event will go ahead in all conditions (rain or shine!) so please come prepared. We suggest you wrap up warm and wear appropriate footwear for the winter weather.

In extreme weather conditions where a safety issue is presented, notification of cancellation will be emailed to all ticket holders and also posted on our website and social media channels.

If the Light Trail has to cancel the event before the advertised start time then we will look to rebook you for another date, subject to availability. if no other dates are available we will offer a credit to Grass Hoppers or Mission Out or a refund.

This is a night-time outdoor attraction that illuminates a dedicated trail of light around the grounds of the venue. On arrival you will be welcomed by Santa through his grotto. On the trail there are numerous static and interactive light up attractions with an enchanting soundscape.

No, refreshments are not included in the price of the ticket but the food vendors do accept cash and card payments.

Please note, due to the type of the event, some areas of the site will have limited lighting. Please keep to the illuminated pathways at all times and keep track of younger visitors. Paths are uneven in places and may be slippery under foot in poor weather, so please wear suitable footwear. We advise visitors to wrap up warm as the event takes place throughout the grounds with no indoor shelter.

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our visitors, dogs are not permitted at the event. The only exception is for assistance dogs, which are welcome.
