We’re super proud to share the news that we have been shortlisted in the Community, Sustainability and Medium Business categories of the 18th annual Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards.

When you come along for a proper autumn playtime, you will have the option to pick your own pumpkin to take home and will be given a stencil to help you carve a design in your chosen size of pumpkin.

As you will know, our community is at the heart of everything we do at Yorkshire Garden Centres, so we were delighted to give something back to the digital community by sponsoring two categories at the Yorkshire Blogger Awards that were held in Leeds recently.

We’ve done the maths and are happy to report that our team-led ‘Kindness Pot’ has supported 22 local groups and donated over £1,000 so far this year.

We were recently the first garden centre group in the UK to accredit our own sustainability training, and the programme is a great success.

We’re delighted to share the news that we have recently installed a 227-panel solar array at Otley Garden Centre that will save 91,715kWh of energy and will reduce the carbon footprint of the Pool Road site by 21.4 tonnes per annum.
